On September 8, 2025, the Federal Executive presented the 2026 Economic Fiscal Package to Congress, which includes significant amendments to the Special Tax on Production and Services Law (IEPS), the Federal Tax Code (CFF), the Federal Rights Law (LFD), and the Federal Revenue Law (LIF). The latter included changes affecting deductibility for income tax purposes.
